There are a few other supplemental wall heaters and oil heaters. There is a full bathroom (w/ tub), laundry, and bedroom on the main level, and the two more spacious upstairs bedrooms share a 3/4 bathroom fit with a custom tile shower. There is a small project table that can be used for games & puzzles, or as a dedicated work space. Currently there is no A/C but during hot weather, opening the windows to let in a cool breeze during the early morning and then keeping the doors and windows closed up during the heat of the day is sufficient to keep the place comfortably cool.

This furnished separate guest house is comfortable and private and sits about 40 yards from our home. It has a separate entrance and is situated on a fenced one acre property of ponderosa pines in beautiful Central Oregon. We have plenty of wildlife to watch (birds, rabbits, squirrels and chipmunks). We are conveniently located far from the noisy city near the Big Deschutes River and La Pine State Park and Paulina Lake. Mt Bachelor is 24 mile and Crater Lake is 69 miles from us. We have nice cool evening where lighting up a campfire is a pleasure. For those who enjoy playing Horse shoe, we have a horseshoe pit. Parking is next to the guest house (if you have a self contained RV contact host for parking). In the guest house we have DIRECT TV as well as CromeCast for picking up Netflix, the kitchenette has a microwave, toaster, toaster oven and a hot plate. We also have a coffeemaker with Coffee, creamer, tea and hot cocoa. and for your convenience there will be fruit and Danishes. It is stocked with essentials so all you need to do is bring your food. There will be a charcoal BBQ, you bring the briquettes.

Welcome to our modern, rustic apartment located in our shop with outdoor access. Newly remolded and equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay including a kitchenette, full bath, complimentary bottle of wine, bath essentials and large bedroom with a queen bed and a futon in the living room along with a smart TV and free access to HULU with HBO! Are you returning from a nice hike or skiing?!? you can enjoy a nice soak in the cast iron tub and a complimentary bottle of wine! Please note this is a TUB ONLY and no shower. There's a kitchenette equipped with a mini fridge, new wave burner, microwave, combo coffee pot/toaster oven/griddle along with all dishes, pots and pans, cereal, coffee, wine and sometimes even Fresh homemade bread! In the summertime you can even enjoy the communal fire pit and hammocks. The apartment is located in our shop with TWO exterior doors. The bathroom is a JACK- N -JILL style with the living room and bedroom. You may hear quiet activity from the shop during daylight hours however very seldom. Welcome to the Chalet on the river. This 1700 + square foot retreat with wrap around deck is the perfect year-around get away. Located on the Little Deschutes River, the Chalet features floor to ceiling picturesque windows with views of the back meadow, the Little Deschutes River, and Mt Bachelor. The Chalet features a peaceful master suite, king sized bed, reading nook, private bath and French doors leading to the patio with views of the meadow. The loft can accommodate up to four people with the option to be two separate areas or one large. The loft contains a queen size bed and a futon. The main level offers an inviting living area, fireplace and dining room. Chalet Layout There are 5 steps to enter the main level. The main level includes; kitchen, living room, dining room and a full bath. There are 14 steps up to the loft. The loft level includes; the queen bed, and queen sized futon. There are 14 steps to the basement. The basement level is the master bedroom with a king size bed and full bath. The washer and dryer are also on this level. Additional Information There is a street behind the house ~ 500 feet from the house with the river in between. The street does have cars on it regularly, but we do not notice it during our stay. We've had some guests notice it and others have not. . Although it is all perception, it is worth mentioning as previous guests had different views. Water Crafts/Inflatables ~ There are canoes and SUP’s at the Chalet. However, they are not for guest use. Why? Liability, invasive species permits, correct PFD sizes etc... We do not have any inflatable tubes or rafts due to maintenance of these types of items. There is a Bi-Mart and a Ace Hardware down the street that sells inflatable water toys. Many of the nearby lakes rent both motorized and non-motorized water crafts. BBQ ~ There is a propane BBQ on the deck and BBQ utensils. We do not provide beach towels. Please remember to pack yours. The living room, dining area and kitchen open onto each other and enjoy ample natural light, a cozy wood stove and a complete audio and video entertainment center. The kitchen contains all of the appliances and equipment that you will need to prepare the most elegant or the most efficient meals. You can eat at a spacious counter or at the large oak table. A gas grill is just outside, off the dining area. The three bedrooms have been carefully decorated with your comfort and pleasure in mind. Bright, light filled house overlooking the Deschutes River just 15 minutes South of Sunriver. There is a beautiful river view from the living area, kitchen, dining area and two bedrooms. Relaxing on the deck is one of our favorite things to do in the mornings and evenings. There are chairs down on the river bank where there is almost always cool breezes. It's a short drive to Willamette Pass Ski Lodge and many surrounding lakes including Crescent, Odell, Waldo and Crater Lake. Cabin amenities include a complete kitchen and two full bathrooms. Master bedroom on main level has a queen bed. Sleeping loft on second floor also has a queen bed, two twin beds and two floor pads. Cabin comfortably sleeps 6 with a wood stove and forced air system for heat. Custom wood work with exposed pine board interior and hardwood floors. Local activities include fishing in the creek on property or have fun inner-tubing the creek in Summer. Local lakes offer swimming, kayaking, sailing, jet skiing and fishing. Many local hiking trails. Willamette Pass Ski Lodge offers downhill and cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snow boarding in winter. We also have a paved-loop driveway and so are trailer friendly. A cozy loft above the separate two car garage with over 1300 square feet of space for the kids, lots of toys, games, and books. The loft also has a queen bed, a double bed, an electric air mattress, dining table, dressers, and is electrically heated. There are no bathrooms and no running water in the loft/garage since it is not connected to the main cabin. Huge paver patio area with fire pit, grill, and lots of space for entertaining. The property is within eight minutes of Crescent and Odell lake resorts, hiking, restaurants, fishing, 9 miles from skiing at Willamette Pass, 45 minutes from Sunriver, and much more!
